sábado.

The alarm clock stays off and I let the sun wake me up on Saturday mornings. How could a day not be good when that's how you start it off?

We love going to the antiques market in one of the parks in our neighborhood. You never know quite what you'll stumble across: a metal diving mask (20,000 Leagues-Under-the-Sea style), retro barbies, the perfect (or far from perfect) piece of art, or maybe a mismatched set of tea cups.

On my last visit, I was rewarded with lovely find: vintage Mexico and Mexico City postcards.
After hand-picking my lot, I haggled for a fair price and both buyer and seller ended the transaction well pleased.

I've not worked myself up to it yet, but the possibility remains...snack on chapulines while perusing the market's offerings. Chapulines are grasshoppers toasted on a comal with salt, garlic, and a spritz of lime. If you can look past the occasional grasshopper leg stuck in your tooth, I hear that they can be quite tasty, especially with chile!
