fall and farewells.

Two things that made my heart glad today:

1. Our team's afternoon excursion to the artisan market, admiring Mexican handicraft, and premature Christmas shopping.

2. The seasons are changing and the days are cool, breezy, and sometimes rainy. I'm reminded that
...the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands...Isaiah 55:12
Even creation is entering into a chorus of praise.

Two things have me bumming:

1. Tuna season is over.
Thankfully, Josu and I were able to dash to the corner store last week to stock up and enjoy one last hurrah.
And now our supply is officially depleted.

2. My five Mexico City faves are leaving for the states in a couple days. Sigh. They'll be back in time for Christmas and you can bet we plan on celebrating in style.
Pray for them these next weeks?
